Community-Minded TV relies on donation from the community. Your support helps us improve upon on programming, level of instruction for our technical classes, and allows us to purchase equipment for the community to use. CMTV is a 501C3 nonprofit organization so any donation can be deducted as a tax right off. Thank you for donating to your local community access station.

Community-Minded Television offers corporate sponsorships to local business and organizations. They’re an easy and cost effective way to support CMTV and show the Spokane community you care. Attend a CMTV event
August 21st, 2010 CMTV will be at Unity in the Community filming the excitement and taking opinions and clips from community members about their takes on culture and diversity. Join us and let your voice be heard! September in Spokane means Sustainability! Join us as we track the regions progress toward sustainable communities and building conversations and actions around better methods for a better future.
Produce a Show
It’s really simple to get started. If you’re not already familiar with the gear you can take one of CMTV’s many classes to get up to speed. These classes are also good for individuals who may just need to get up to speed with today’s equipment. CMTV is excited to see the many different projects that come in. Please contact us is you need any assistance getting started.
Volunteer
We have volunteers at CMTV doing all kinds of jobs; from video production and editing, helping out on location filming, screening programming, posting flyers, even clerical work. Whatever your skills are we’ll put you to work. We like to say that volunteering is good for the soul but now it’s also good for the wallet. Volunteers get great deals on equipment check outs and classes. Please contact us to find out more.
Internships
We accept a limited number of high school and college interns at any particular time. Internships are non-paid and students can receive credit. We are looking for people who are interested in learning about the TV and film industry. CMTV interns will get a chance to work on productions for air.
Work Study
Work Study programs are paid positions through the school in which you are attending. Work study employees are expected to keep regular hours and are assigned job duties based on their experience and the needs of CMTV. Work study positions are available to college students and must be initiated by the college. Please contact your school to find out how you can be a Work Study for CMTV.
